Cookie policy
Two cookies, both necessary for the game to work. Our audience measurement sets none, and no advertising cookies are set today.

Draft. This document has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be relied on. It describes how the site currently works and will be finalised before launch.
Strictly necessary
These two are needed to provide a service you have asked for — playing the game, and staying signed in. Consent is not required for cookies of that kind, and there is no way to use the site without them.
| Name | Purpose | Lasts | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| exprand_anon | Identifies your game so the six guesses belong together and a refresh does not restart the puzzle. A random value, not linked to your identity. | 1 year | Essential |
| sb-*-auth-token | Keeps you signed in. Set by our authentication provider when you sign in with Google. | Until you sign out, refreshed as you browse | Essential |
Measuring how the site is used
We count page views and page-load speed using Vercel Web Analytics, who also host the site. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so there is nothing here to consent to and no banner for it.
It records the page visited, the referring site, and a coarse country and device type. It does not build a profile of you, does not follow you to other websites, and we cannot use it to identify an individual person.
Advertising
We set no advertising cookies. Apart from the audience measurement described above, which stores nothing, the site loads no third-party scripts.
We intend to show a single advertisement on the result screen. When that happens, this page will describe those cookies before any of them are set, a consent banner will appear, and nothing non-essential will load until you have chosen.
Controlling cookies
You can delete cookies in your browser settings. Removing exprand_anon mid-game will lose that game’s progress, and removing the sign-in cookie will sign you out.

Our privacy policy explains what we do with the data these cookies make possible, and our subprocessors page lists the companies involved. Questions to privacy@exprand.com.
